Live. Right. Now.

when the Sun annoyingly Blinds You as it Peaks over the Horizon, love that blinding light anyway,

when the Night is Pitch Black with nothing but the Moon as a guiding Light, love that dark shade of sky exactly as it is,

when the Morning Dew is in the early Brisk Air, love the smell of the dew in the air,

when the day is open to great new potential,

live right now because it is the only life we will have, the only chance we get.

Observe More Now

watch the dragonfly as he rests his wings momentarily,

watch the kids faces on the school bus as they pass by,

watch how your spouse has their routine set for each beginning morning,

watch your children sleep in peace and comfort,

watch the water ripples on the river happen at the local public park,

watch the birds as they interact with one another, you can learn a thing or two just by deeper observation,

watch things in life with more observation.

Smile More Now

when you get chewing gum stuck to the bottom of your shoe

when life seems to be hard to smile in

when your children are messy from head to toe

when your spouse tries to sing (on key) in the car while you are riding together in the vehicle,

when your spouse has toilet paper stuck to the bottom of their shoe when leaving the public restroom,

Smile more now because joy is so amazing to experience and life is short.

Heal Now

remind yourself what you have come through

remind yourself of the kind of peace you desire in your life and make it happen,

remind yourself that it is okay to focus on your own emotional psyche & healing,

remind yourself on a bad day that you are allowed to have a bad day,

remind yourself on a good day that you are allowed to have a good day,

remind yourself that writing for therapy is okay and you deserve to be able to do so,

Heal Now

Food for Further Thought:

Live More Now, Observe More Now, Smile More Now and Heal Now because it is the only time we have, we are given only one life, ONE.
